Kgd. Raul set to donate ambulance, increase Iskolars to 40
(NABUNTURAN, Compostela Valley)- Nabunturan Councilor Raul Caballero is determined to donate an ambulance for barangay poblacion following the recent arrival of the unit he got from South Korea.
His South Korean friends offered the ambulance to him as founder-president of the Mesael Caballero Foundation, Inc. as gesture of goodwill and humanitarian service.
Importation duties and freight of the unit were shouldered by Caballero.
The unit, already used in South Korea, is not yet dilapidated and is yet serviceable, equipped with basic ambulance fixtures and gadgets.
His brother Conie, barangay kagawad of Nabunturan poblacion and also officer of the foundation, also exerted efforts for the successful arrival of the ambulance.
The Caballeros completed the unit's general repair and improvement at their own expense.
Meanwhile, Councilor Raul is also readying to increase his current 31 scholars enrolled in two-year computer technician course at Nabunturan College of Science and Technology to 40 by the coming June class opening. The search for additional Iskolar ni Raul is currently going on.
